Seeking Talented Performers to tackle this Sondheim musical at South Jackson Performing Arts Center!!!
South Jackson Community Playhouse is thrilled to announce its upcoming auditions for Company!
Company follows Bobby, a bachelor whose married friends are determined to help him find love. Through a series of encounters with his friends, Bobby explores the joys, challenges, and complexities of relationships – forcing him to examine what it truly means to connect with others and commit to a life shared with others.
Casting NOTE:
Actors auditioning for Bobby must be able to portray mid-30’s. For all other characters we welcome actors of varying ages of adulthood and life experiences!
Audition Dates:
Location – South Jackson Performing Arts Center
Saturday – July 18th at 10am
Monday – July 20th at 6pm
Tuesday – July 21st at 6pm
Callbacks:
Saturday – July 25 at 10am
Performance Dates:
November 6-8 & 13-15
How to Prepare:
Please come prepared to:
1. Sing 30 seconds of a song in the style of the show with a Karaoke Track (note: a speaker will be provided)
2. Cold-read from a portion of the script
3. To have your photo taken
